Orderd this rod after Christmas, but have not had the chance to use it as of today. I have had my eye on these rods for quite some time, and I had a coupon for 20% off my next purchase that was about to expire. The coupon was issued this past fall after placing my first order from their website. The OGX was on sale so I ordered a 7' MH fast as new jig rod. At first glance, this is a great looking rod that is very well made. It has a nice feel although its a little heavier and stiffer that I imagined it would be. To me this rod is more suitable for dragging baits on off shore structure rather than skipping docks or pitching at visable cover on the bank. I am not disappointed at all, but I would like to put my hands on some more of their rods. I am not sure if they have a retail store that carries them, but I would like to see and hold the next one I buy.

I liked the ogx 7’mhf. Really good rod. I extremely enjoyed using the 6’8”mhf with the shorter handle. Didn’t feel like getting the boat out for Memorial Day weekend so took out the Bonafide and the 6’8” didn’t leave my hands much.
