Just went to a local lake to test a new reel and rigged one of these Brawler Bugs up for the first time as well. Dragged it in a bit then started to swim it back taking advantage of the claw design and a little spot thought it was cool enough to bite. I’ll be throwing this for sure in the future but thought it was funny I got bit on the first cast. Did get a few more bites also just swimming it back.
Haven’t used yet, but look good
Perfect size for a jig trailer or to fish alone.
